I cannot deny that coffee has not been my best friend so far this month. Now that the last greenhouse is up and running it has been all guns blazing in terms of sowing seeds, but disaster has struck in the form of crown rot decimating my anemones and ranunculus. Lots of hours have also been spent in the office these past few weeks in an attempt to secure funding to make the plot as amazing as it possibly be for its first year.

A Massive THANK YOU goes to Dad for not only building the greenhouse, but for making the fantastic shelving and staging for it too. Don't worry though, the favor was returned by my helping him demolish a caravan this month, and some of it will be recycled as a shed and cold frames! Nothing is wasted if we can help it!

Over in the garden the wisteria was pruned and leaves cleared. During this I found a hibernating hedgepig who was safely placed under the hedgehog box with plenty of bedding and a statue to stand guard. A reminder to make sure to be careful for any hibernating creature when moving leaf piles!
